Intro and a Question
By:
Hey I'm Artie. I used to be a witch a few years ago but didn't have a specific path in mind. I fell out of practice but recently I've recently felt myself being called back. The thing is, I don't know whether to pursue a green or lunar path. I seem to be very drawn to the moon and water but also to plants/rocks/the earth. Is there a way for me to pursue both? I don't want to venture off into 2 separate things. Can I have the moon as a deity and do work outside of just water-related things?

You can do anything you want. Many find that the moon is related to water, so that will work well for you

Yes. Absolutely you can do both. You can definitely have a lunar related deity and do practices outside of lunar work specifically. Planting by the moon may interest you as a green and lunar which. Your craft need not be so restricted. There was a time I thought I'd never work with deities, and now I work with quite a few from different pantheons.

There is nothing which dictates you can not work with lunar deities and energy and plants at the same time. Absolutely nothing. And planting by lunar cycles is historically observed in the past, and was done.

A term that a lot of people go by is eclectic, essentially studding whatever they want to instead of focusing on one topic. In all honesty, the term Kitchen Witch or Green Witch is a quick way to explain what their focus on, and just because you devoted yourself to, lets say, herbalism, doesn't mean you are barred from learning about crystals.
All in all, study what you want, labels are not a confining term
