Magic Altar

Hi, so I want to make an altar dedicated to a spirit animal, which would be a kitsune or a fox. I know they mean both the same but ideally kitsune are associated with magical powers rather than ordinary fox's.

I want to be able to summon the kitsune with sigils where I would have a sigil charging at the created altar and another sigil of the same type on me at personal times which could be used as a sort of guide for the spirit animal.

Maybe I have given you some ideas on what you can do. But I have a few questions.

Q1: What should the altar look like in representation?
Q2: Should I use the picture of a fox to represent the kitsune or what would be suitable?
Q3: Is it possible to create a Kitsune so it can represent this altar?
Q4: Can I use custom symbols for sigils? and if so how do I power them in the kitsunes name?

Many thanks.. as a side note, I have done spells on plates and other things but never on an altar before so what should I expect? Blessed be.

The altar in representation should look the way you enjoy and find acceptable for representation of the kitsune.

A picture of a fox works. If you have no issue with bones a fox skull could work as well, as long as it is legally and humanely obtained.

Creating a kitsune with an artwork method is entirely possible. Looking into different methods, be it clay, a painting etc can help you along with this.

Yes you can create custom sigils. How you charge or power these is up to you as well.

Working on an altar is no different from working on the floor, a nightstand or anywhere else one can work ritual.

For someone who has a spirit animal of a fox. They do not mean the same thing. A fox is adaptable yes and so are kitsunes but there are many types of foxes both shape and sizes and elements associated. Kitsunes are Japanese based from Shintoism and depending. WHatever the fox is or spirit animal is you should look into yourself or ask guidance from them and do research on the animal itself and metaphsyical properties.
