unidentified encounter

I was in my bed and i had woken up at around 3 am and this lady dressed in all black looked like a nun she was holding a black candle and it was lit she had walked to the edge of my bed and had turned to face me she walked to the head of the bed exactly where my head was and had knelt down and placed the candle down and then disappeared I went to look and there was nothing there except a fading black candle after that my experiences had shot up i kept smelling my passed loved ones cologne and perfume i was also visited by la llorona one night it scared me so much i stayed up the rest of the night. Can anyone help me make sense of this?

It sounds like either sleep paralysis or simply a hypnagogic hallucination.

i forgot to elaborate on a few things sorry i don't have sleep paralysis and i was completely awake during these times again I'm sorry for not being exact on a few things

You state you woke up around 3 Am when this first occurrence happened. If this is so are you certain you were fully awake?

What comes to mind for me with sensing your ancestors colonge or perfume, is protection from ancestors or passed loved ones.

I would consider this to be a possible meaning or lesson from this.

i am very certain because when i wake up at around 3 am i am fully aware of my surroundings and am fully awake i had found out that my birth father around the same age as me had the same exact nun in his dreams around my age and it quit when he was in highschool but i was fully awake and not in a dream im just trying hard to figure this out

Then it sounds like you already have your answer, or at least your mind was made up about your experience before you even decided to ask.
