Spelling objects vs verba

There wasn't enough space to fit the subject, but why is it that I feel like a spell will do /more/ if I spell an object and then place it as part of a larger ritual, compared to simply verbal charms? Like I know its not /more/ powerful because of the form the magic takes but I tend to do that when I have an important situation I need changed compared to simply doing a verbal spell like I do with protecting my home or myself for example. Could be because I put more time comparatively into spelling an object and using it in a larger ritual then I can always use said object and add more energy into it if I feel I need to. I don't want to give away how I perform those kinds of rituals as not every witch has the same morality as me and if you know how something works you know the loophole to the spell.

Maybe your brain registers the physical objects as stronger as you can physically see and feel them which creates a more solid image of the energy it affects? Kind of like how if you handwrite notes with a pen you're more likely to remember them than if you write them on the computer or record them verbally.
Kinda like the action of physically doing something helps you remember it better or more vividly?

Do you get what I mean? Like, obviously both methods work I just find I feel "more power" in a metaphorical sense when I spell an object and use that spelled object as part of a larger ritual because I feel like I've made "something" compared to just chanting a spell and releasing the energy.
