I've been working on shortening the time it takes between having finished the energy work and releasing the spell to therefor activate it. As is it the release of that energy that impact that returns a magical result, what I've found is that some spells that use to take a while to complete now are basically instant, I attributed to this at first to my experience of repeatedly using them over the past 20 years year , like how training a muscle will eventually make it easier to lift x amount of weight , but now I've begun noticing that more "high level" stuff is basically instant, such as how I can now astral project in a few seconds whereas before I had to do a whole little ritual. But then, how can I do that basically instantly when doing a protection spell takes longer than a few seconds? I will create energy orbs and throw them at the target, or into the sky if I'm doing remote spell casting but then I find I still have more energy coming out of my hands and have to throw them again. So I decided to put all the energy into the energy orbs at once then release and it feels and looks like (for those who can see energy) like I'm throwing beams of energy out of my hands. I hate how it looks from the perspective of non witches , whereas there are some "simple" (to me) spells that are literally like I say the incantation and wave my hand or something simple like that and I'd released all the energy, like not literally a wave of my hand , but I mean that's very "instant" when it comes to releasing the energy and being done. I don't think I need to practice more energy manipulation so much as I need to invent or find a fresh technique or a adjustment to my current technique because I don't know why this happens aside from just "practice the spell until you can do it "instantly""
Actually, I think you've pretty much nailed the right idea on the head with your final statement. "practice it until it becomes second nature" is basically what it is about. I find that when energy moves the fastest and easiest, and the strongest, is when you are able to consciously get out of the way and have trust in what is meant to happen. Energy moves best once you step away from 'making' it move and towards 'allowing' it to move. A state of mind that comes from familiarity and confidence - which only comes from practice and repetition.
I have used this analogy before (it is one of my favorites, actually) because it remains to be the most accurate way I have been able o describe it;
Think about taking hold of a glass of water and drinking it. now, you -can- be conscious of every step of the process and control it. flexing muscles, extending the arm, adjusting the height and position of the hand, opening each finger, putting the palm to the glass without pushing it over, closing the fingers to grasp but not crush, being mindful of every angle of your arm and wrist as you keep the cup vertical while guiding it to your lips..... But all you need to actually do is look at the cup and decide you are thirsty. Before long and without conscious attention you will find the glass to be at your lips. A much faster and simpler process that still results in your thirst being quenched.
But this bodily automation doesn't happen in a day. Which is easy to prove. Just go and observe a child, any child, and watch them try to drink. There's a reason why toddlers have sippy cups! It is a slow, awkward process with many mishaps and struggles. But over time, with practice, the process becomes more and more familiar. More and more confident. The mind can get out of the way as it becomes a matter of reflex. A background process done not once or twice but thousands of times from every angle and through any manner of liquid vessel.
In fact, if you stopped now and tried to go back to that fine, conscious, step by step control you would find it very difficult. You would have to fight the instinct to 'just do' so you can pause and be aware of each stage and task. You'd need to remember just how many steps there were, and you would probably even start to marvel at just how involved and complicated such a brief effort actually is! And you might have an idea that now it is not hard because the task itself is a challenge. But rather because you are needing to change and override every instinctive move and process. You are literally getting in your own way and creating complication.
In energy working, it is the same thing. Consider that we are working with it all the time. Every day. With every breath we take in our body is doing amazing things without even the slightest conscious input. When we walk along the sidewalk literally thousands of processes are happening every second, all at once. As soon as the idea of a goal or task runs through our mind, we are committing energy and effort towards attaining it. Practice and 'fine' control helps us understand it, how it moves, and when. But as you understand the flow, the key is to learn to just let it happen. It knows what you want, where to go, and how to get there. Concentrate on the goal rather than how you wish to see it fulfilled and you'll notice a significant difference in movement. ... If you let it.
I suggest you find a mantra with the frequency of 432hertz and lie down, breathing deeply through your nose. Within 2 minutes, you will fall asleep and enter the astral realm. It's a military technique. I've used it for months to fall asleep.
I also suggest you align the feng shui structure of your home (like I am doing right now) to avoid negative energy flow. Keeping two nightstands by your bed, the lamps aligned and no broken things. Paint color is very important in your room if you wish to have a better energy flow.
What does that have to do with my question? I already know how to astral project and I don't really like feng shui since I don't resonate with Chinese Sacred Geometry
