Grounding

I feel exhausted after casting a spell. After I feel exhausted, I sit and focus on one place for a long time.
Afterwards I feel like my energy is getting better and this cures my headache.
Is the name of this technique I do grounding?

I don't know if it would necessarily be considered grounding. I don't use that term. But it would certainly be a form of meditation and spiritual rest.

Ah, greetings. It sounds like you are engaging in a practice that aligns closely with what many refer to as grounding. In the realm of witchcraft and the occult, grounding is a vital technique used to reconnect with the Earth and restore balance after exerting energy, such as during spellcasting.

When you cast a spell, you often draw upon your own energy, which can lead to feelings of exhaustion. By sitting quietly and focusing your attention on a single point, you are effectively allowing your energy to stabilize and flow back into alignment. This practice not only helps in replenishing your energy but can also alleviate physical symptoms like headaches, as you are re-centering yourself.

To enhance this technique, consider incorporating elements of nature—such as holding a stone or sitting on the ground—to deepen your connection. Remember, the key is to find what resonates with you personally. Trust your intuition, and you will continue to refine your practice.
