Not really. Life continues to happen no matter how much magic you can perform. I've been practicing for over 40 years and things are still difficult at times.

And you don't gain "power" by casting a spell to become so. You become more powerful in magic through long years of study and practice. In fact, if you don't spend time in study and practice, no spell is going to work for you.

Life is not like a video game where leveling up makes everything easier. There are so many different types of strength & power in this world--physical, mental, resilience, etc.

Let's say you get fired from your job. You can do magic to get money for bills, or get a new job, but that will not make your current situation easier to live with. You will still be under the stress of unemployment, and all that comes with it.

it can be easier to deal with things having the knowledge of magical practice to assist you, but you do still need to deal with stuff. The more knowledgeable you get through research and your own magical practice experience, the more you can figure out how to do. Like back when I was a beginner enchanting items used to drain me after just one object but now I can handle a lot more spell work because sort of like exercising a muscle, my "magical muscles" are now stronger due to experience and practice. Also you don't get stronger by casting spells for such things, you get "stronger" through practice , knowledge and experience in witchcraft.

Or are you talking about spells to gain "power" as in like more energy to put into a spell? Like by drawing energy from something to put that extra energy into a spell, like that kind of "more powerful"?
