Are Astrology Courses

Hi everyone,
I’ve been thinking seriously about enrolling in Astrology courses, but I’m honestly confused and could really use some genuine advice from people who have already explored this field.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve come across so many options—especially Online Astrology courses—that claim to teach everything from basic horoscope reading to advanced predictive techniques. Some even bundle related topics like numerology and an Online palmistry course, which sounds interesting but also makes me wonder how deep the learning actually goes.
My main concern is: are these courses truly valuable, or just surface-level knowledge packaged nicely? I don’t want to invest my time and money into something that won’t help me build real skills.
I’m particularly interested in:
Whether beginners can actually learn astrology effectively online
How much practice or real-life application these courses provide
If certifications from such courses are respected or useful
Whether combining astrology with an Online palmistry course adds real value
I’ve also seen a few institutes being mentioned in discussions, like Bhartiya Institute of Vedic Science. From what I understand, they offer structured programs, but I’m not sure how they compare to other platforms or whether they’re suitable for someone just starting out.
Another thing I’m struggling with is choosing between short-term and long-term courses. Some Online Astrology courses promise quick learning in a few weeks, while others are more detailed and take months. Has anyone here tried both types? Which one actually works better in the long run?
Also, is it realistically possible to turn astrology into a career or side income, or is it better approached as a personal interest or spiritual learning journey?
