Okay, so you can simply call yourself a Satanist and start practicing Satanism without an initiation. However, should you chose to dedicate yourself to that specific spiritual practice, the dedication ceremony is a lot more complicated than this. I would also like to note there are a variety of different paths in Satanism, and only an tiny portion worship a literal devil. Most are humanitarians who either worship Lucifer, or use Lucifer as a symbol and do not believe he is a spirit you can work with.
