A Witch/Wizard's Power Is Their Energy, Yes you can fade their energy a little bit, But you can't just simply take it- You can't take someone's energy with magic- Magic is only spiritual and reflects on your energy, gods are there if you think there are- The real magic is technically you, the spells etc. are the mediums- You can't simply take someone's magical energy/ spiritual energy

I don't think this will work. At best, it will take away the person's will to cast spells or somehow sap energy from them to make sure they don't have enough to use magick. This could work if put in the part of a larger ritual, but on it's own, I doubt it will make a noticeable different.
