First, the obvious step. Think of what type of spell you want.
Keep in mind which spells are harder to perform than others. It's best to do a simple spell if this is your first time making a spell. Of course, everyone is different. Generally, beauty, health and weather spells are harder to perform since they are physical magick. But this is not the case for everyone. I recommend a simple manifestation spell (Wish spell), luck, wealth, etc.
Now, get out a piece of paper and a pen or marker. It is best not to use a pencil. Write down the spell's name, it's purpose, requirements and incantation.
After you do that, place your hand over the paper (about three inches off the paper) and imagine your energy running through your veins. Imagine your energy going though your arm and into the spell. Don't use too much of your own energy, save some for the actual spell.
Imagine energy coming from mother nature - plants and the ground. You can imagine green energy (or whatever color best suits you) coming from the ground, wrapping around your legs, into your body, through your arms and into the spell.
Imagine energy coming from the universe -the sky, outer space, everything, and imagine it going into your head, through your arm and into the spell. Imagine you performing the spell, and the spell working. Now, you can keep your hand where it is, or hold the paper.
Chant the following (this is optional) Chant as long as you want.
"Wind, fire, water, earth
I call on you to make this spell magick,
So mote it be."
just for advice: if the spell is not aligned to any elemental order, or don't have vibration over words or power source, or also don't have why or how it works or not or don't have any sense it is real or not, the spell still will not work
No. It can help you remember it, and if you want it to rhyme go for it, but it doesn't matter. So long as you are not stopping and starting in the chant it doesn't matter if it rhymes, what language it's in, or how long it is. Whatever feels right to you.
Yes it's true. The spell be easier to remember if it rymes but emotions plays a big part in spell casting so if you make it rhyme then it will also be more powerful do to it having more emotion in it
That's subjective, Wolf. Not everyone believes emotion is the most important part of spell casting (spirits and ingredients are things that some paths consider more important, just as an example). Also, emotional responses depend on the individual, so rhymes won't necessarily have a more emotional response for everyone. I used to cast rhyming spells and they didn't really click with me, and since I stopped using them my spells have worked much better. Nothing wrong with using rhymes, of course, but it's not for everyone. Basically, things like that depend in the individual and what their path was, and aren't objective facts.
it's also gotta be relevant to the spell. I made a spell to essentially rip open the veil, but it needs more energy than I gave it, but i can feel the veil weakening. The raw power of this spell is a little overwhelming, and if it's weakening the veil now, it involves using quartz to focus that energy, which i have done before. This is a little experiment of mine.
Personally, yes. It says so in the Wiccan Rede itself- ''To bind the spell well every time, let the spell be said in rhyme''
I'm not trying to force the Rede on someone who may or may not be wiccan, but I feel like spells that rhyme are stronger and more successful than spells that don't. Just my experience. However, either way, the difference in power and success chance isn't that high.
You need to be in a council position of a coven to post a spell. When in that position, you then go to the ''Spells'' tab, and then the ''Add Spell'' button.
I'm so shocked and surprised I knew it would work but my fingers were like stuck and frozen and numb it was crazy this spell really works as long as you believe and do it correctly!
How long you need to wait for a spell to manifest depends on the type of spell, how much you are working towards it and how much energy you put into it.
As HearthWitch said, many factors go into spells. If your spell is a short term goal [get my crush to notice me] I would give it a month, and if you see no change [they don't keep staring at you, coming over to talk to you, asking people about you, starts hanging around you more] try a different spell. Be open to signs, this can help you determine if a spell is working since some could work the same day, while others could take months.
