SpellsOfMagic has a huge online store, supplying you with any and all your occult and new age needs.
Important Notes:
Most ingredients, such as herbs, oils, and wax, are optional. You can pick and choose what you want to use, or even add other herbs that either feel right or work towards your intention. I recommend looking up any herbs you have to search their magickal meaning. Don't forget that the spices in your kitchen cabinet works, too!
You can cut the herbs to make them smaller for some jars. When I did this spell, I used a really tiny jar that can fit in my pocket. But you can also use bigger jars. Small jars don't mean less magick or less effectiveness.
You don't need to do this spell exactly as written. Your belief, energy, and intentions are what makes the magick happen.
Some steps you can skip, such as burning certain herbs.
Step 1: Set up your space
Prepare your space. Set your bags/jars of herbs, oils, etc to the side. Light candles in whatever way that feels right. Cleanse the space in whatever way feels right. Some options might be to use a sound bowl and visualize the sound waves washing over your space and cleansing it and adding energy. Other ways is using incense, sage, or even sprays such as sage spray or salt water spray. Literally cleaning your space, such as wiping a table down, is also a great way to cleanse the area around you both physically and energetically.
Light any candles, burn incense if you need, etc. If you have something that instantly makes you feel "in the zone", do it. That might mean meditation, using a sound bowl, burning incense, or even surrounding yourself with candles, crystals/gemstones, sigils, etc.
Step 2: Add ingredients
There are two main methods you can use.
One, you can add your herbs into a bowl or mortar and pestle and stir or grind (clockwise recommended). Feel free to move incense around or waft smoke, or simply hold the bowl and visualize pouring energy into it.
Two, you can add it to the jar immediately. I often use incense and dip it inside the jar to cleanse and activate the energies, and in some cases will do the same after every ingredient. This is optional, and can be done in anyway you like. Just visualizing the energy is enough.
I often have an order in which I add the ingredients: herbs, oils, crystals/gemstones, and other (if there is additional ingredients).
Step 3: Close jar
Close the jar with the cork/lid. I often add more smoke from the incense to the jar before closing it, but this is not required.
Next, take your red candle and tilt (or use wax melts found in wax stamp kits), letting it drop over the lid. If you want to re-use the jar later on, this can come off easily, but might be harder if its a cork.
Optional: Use a wax stamp, whether on top of the lid or on the side of the jar. It might not be a perfect stamp, and that's okay. You can also use permanent marker and add a pentagram symbol, or any other symbol, if it feels right.
(Optional) Step 5: Write the date when cast
Add in your book of shadows, or simply record the date you had cast this spell. Later, you can write down your results, and often write down how long this spell had lasted. The first day is often the most potent, and sometimes can make you feel all over the place, but it often stabilizes the first week, and can dwindle in time - but not all the time!
(Optional) Step 7: Charge the spell jar
I like to charge/re-charge the jar by setting it out on my windowsill, letting the sun and/or moon charge it. It doesn't need direct light or exposure to work. Other ways of charging it is: putting on your altar, incense smoke, sound bowl or bells, sigils, simply holding it and visualizing energy flowing into it, etc.
