This website is called spells of magic so if you don't believe then stop looking them up. And you can just say it didn't work for you because you commented under SO MANY spells so you tried some of them
I can tell you are new to Witchcraft as well as this site. Did you bother to read my profile? I assume not since you did not bother to fill out yours. I was raised Wiccan, which is a Pagan religion, ergo I know about Real Magik and Real Witchcraft. There is no vetting for spells on this site. If you are a council member, you can post spells. At best, there is a ranking system to help people determine if a user is knowledgeable. Currently, I am ranked Novice which is basically a person with several years of experience. This site has been around for decades and a lot of the spells are fake. Real Magik on the physical plane is a neutral energy that brings natural change. On the physical plane, humans cannot naturally transform their physical form because it is not in human nature to do that. It would defy nature. Magik is ruled by nature. Hence why a spell that claims it can physically transform you would not work.
Mermaids are not physical beings. Mermaids are astral beings. They can be considered water elementals. Some argue they are part of the fairy race, I see them as fairy adjacent, but those are just semantics. You can work with mermaids like any other spiritual being. You can go to the astral plane and meet with them. You can ask them to visit you in the physical, though they would not become physical, they would be in the ethereal plane. As for transformation, it is more common to call it shifting and it is not physically possible. Mental shifting is when you mentally become the being or mentally see another beings perspective. Astral shifting is when you transform your astral form to be something else. If you learn how to astral project, you can astrally shift into a mermaid. These forms of transformation work because they are done on different planes of existence where the laws of Magik are different. This is why so many people are obsessed with astral projection because the rules are almost limitless.
I do not need to try every single spell I comment on to know which ones do and do not work. If you know the basics of Magik and the basics of spells, you can determine if a spell works or not 75% of the time simply by reading it. The other 25% of the time, it takes more advanced knowledge and/or testing. Since I have been a Witch my entire life, I can easily spot fake spells. As I have mentioned in my profile and around the site, I do not want new Witches to get discouraged that a fake spell did not work for them, and then quit The Craft all together. Witchcraft and Paganism can be very confusing when you begin. Most newbies flock to the cool spells, aka the fake spells. I want to help new Witches avoid fake spells. You will notice my comment was from 2019. It is five years old. I went through the fantasy section a long time ago and have moved on to other sections. If you went to a working spell, you would see my comment is more than just this is fake. In those sections, I give information on how to improve the spell. Lastly, there have been spells I came across that I was unsure of, so I tested them before commenting on them. I did not need to test fake spells, because I understand the basics of Magik.
