Grab your soon to be wand. Iif you have sand paper than sand the stick (makes it more soft and more powerful). Hold up your wand in a nice sunny day and say "Oh this wand I power thee,make it stronger as can be."

Technically yes, but there's a lot missing from this spell. If you choose to make a wand [because you can buy one] it's advised to find a tree with a spiritual meaning [say oak for wisdom] and ask the tree spirit for permission to use a branch. Wait for an answer [some say you should befriend the spirit before asking for a branch] then take a branch, careful not to harm the tree, and leave an offering. You can use a branch that fell naturally, but people argue for or against that [personally, do what you feel is best, just make sure the branch is long enough, most say the length of your elbow to the tip of your finger since you'll be shaping it and it will get smaller. By the end, it should be the length of your forearm] As you sand a shape the wand, you are putting your energy into the branch, you should be doing this mindfully so you're creating the connection. When you're done, dedicate the wand. It can be on a sunny day, but it's also not necessary [unless you want this want to have a specific use and energy] if you work with a specific spirit or deity, you can call on them, or just use the chant above. Since you made the wand, you don't need to worry about charging it with energy [if you purchased the wand, cleanse it and charge it with energy before/after saying the chant]
