  • Lighter

Light your smudge stick. Let itburn until you can get smoke from it. Giro every window, door, and mirror with it and in the air draw the cross and star. This will protect you from demonic and unwanted energy/entities.

This requires an edit. Smudging is a closed practice. You can use the smoke from an herb bundle to cleanse your space, but the act of smudging, especially with white sage, is closed to non-indigenous people. You can smoke cleanse your house, but that is different from smudging. When you cleanse your space, be sure to open your doors and windows so the negative energy and negative entities can leave your home. Once you have cleansed, shut the doors and windows and seal them with a protection symbol.
