TT^TT Okay, so Alchemy said I should try meh poems, and this is one I did...uh...3? years ago... XP (sorry it don't rhyme)

I never understood you, the darkness inside
Never saw the signs of needing redemption
You continued on in life looking for your purpose
And every purpose turned out a lie
Yet you never knew how I really felt,
And the bitter game of jealosy began
We were good friends, and never said how we felt
So we tried to move on, an escape from the hurt
Never once realizing the pain we caused
The suffering and hate. The despair and damage.
Our unknown love danced on a delicate blade of fate
That was oh so close to throw us off.
Each betrayal was another stab
Until there was not much left and nothing there to lose
I called to give my last dying confession
That I loved you
I wanted to always be your shining ray of light in your darkness
The way you were always mine.
I started to cry
And said my final goodbyes
I was about to hang up
my burden lifted to do the thing I had needed
You shouted my name and said
I love you too.
I was your ray of light, and you were mine
