Getting a few mails from people asking things like "Can you tell me the items for a ritual" or "What is a pentacle/pentagram"

Okay..
First of all the Pentacle/Pentagram

The Pentacle is a symbol used in wicca.
It is a star INSIDE a cirle unlike the pentagram which is a five pointed star drawn WITHOUT a circle surrounding it.
The Pentacle is often used in spells.
Each point may represent Spirit,Earth,Air,Water and Fire.

**Boline**
This is one of the two knives used in wicca...unlike the ATHAME it is NOT used in the ritual itself mainly,maybe just for the cutting bits.It is only used to cut things like Herbs etc.
Shaped in a cresent shape or like a moon and has a white handle.

**Athame**
The Athame is not used to cut ANYTHING,well maybe things that are etheric or just astral/spiritual.
It is used to focus your power outwards onto something.
It isnt as sharp as the boline and is the MALE knife used in rituals.

**Book Of Shadows**
This is a book a which keeps with spells he or she has written or the results they may have had after they cast a spell.
For example..If I cast a love spell...I might write down what effects it had on my target,they might have rang me that night and asked something or somewhat.
Sometimes bits of dreams are put in it so that we can interprete or dreams maybe or just understand them.
The Book of Shadows(BOS short) can also be called a "Grimoire" which is the same thing basically although some people think it is different...everyone has their personal opinion.

**besom**
The besom or the broom is NOT used for flying as some of you may believe.The broom or the besom is actually used to clean or cleanse the circle maybe before you cast a spell.
Its long and has straw or natural woodland materials on the end.
Commonly known materials are any thick branch for the holding and sitting area whilst the end of it is straw.
