Spirit Summoning Notes

Heres an article I posted on my site containing some organized notes I took from a conversation with healer and nodrk on some dos and donts of spirit summoning.



I have recently been hearing a lot of buzz about spirit summoning, and invocation of dieties, so I thought I'd supply you with some notes I took of a conversation between me, Nodrk, and Healer82.

Some important things to research before attempting anything that has to do with spirits are: PROTECTION, Banishing, Consecration Purification, the type of creature itself weather it be a certain god/dess, or a demon, etc; Ev/Invocation, Eucharistic, Astral, and the consequences that may be upon you.

NEVER offer blood. Offering your blood is like offering your essence, and you never know who could be impersonating who, and honestly, how Would you know? Offering blood creates an unbreakable bond, a VERY powerful tie, and that will lead to among other things, later problems.

Don't call deities for no reason. If you were in the shower, and someone hauled you out, ran with you down the road, then said, "Just Kidding", what would you think, and or do? So if for example, your gonna call upon the goddess, call upon her to show your dedication, and love. And make sure you Mean It.

Always cast a protective magick working circle, or the Lesser Banishing ritual of the pentagram before invoking something. What your invoking may not feel like coming, then your left completely opened to whatever icky stuff that may feel like coming in. So make sure to use protection first. Have an offering ready, and always give offerings back to the earth.
