Sleep Paralysis - Astral

hey i was just wondering does anyone suffer from sleep paralysis and use this as a means to astral project?... anny comments or knowledge on the topic would be appreacted, cheers !

Well, I would say that the closest thing that I have ever heard of that would b similar to Sleep Paralysis as you put it would b when a person falls into a Trance. With most ppl Trances take place during the time that they are trying to sleep and are characterized by fear,paralysis,and also a unique state of sleep that is inbetween actually sleeping and not sleeping. However, it is not unheard of for ppl to go into trances while they are awake and fully conscious (these tend to b precognitions more often than not). As for being able to go Astral from this stage I cannot say that I know how probable it is for sure. I can imagine though that it would b rather difficult due to the suddeness of trances and the emotions that come with them...there would b much more easier ways to go Astral..

i tried meditating and chanting for a few months and nothing... but then that started to happen all of a sudden and i had no control over it, i guess it must be connected. i just wondered if theirs other people out their that can do it that way....its fairly scary and after the 'vibrate' stage when i leave my body i find it relly difficult to stand up straight and move stedily in one direction instead of just spinning or falling towards where i want to go , i dont no is this normal?

Sleep paralysis happens only when you sleep. The body has an enzime that prevents sleep walking thus paralising you.
When you wake up you're in a half sleeping stage cant move and often people believe they're being attacked or something. That's sleep paralysis.

Umm I don't know. I had this happen to me maybe twice but I never used it to AP. I can't see how body paralysis can be helpful to achieve AP.

Paralysis can also be an effect of snapping back into your body too quickly after projecting.
