Help please

Okay so I have a scrying mirror and I hear you can contact spirits with them. I'm not sure how though. I'd anyone knows how could you let me know. Please nothing to do with the key of Solomon .

What particularly are you trying to accomplish and what protections do you plan on implementing as things can go out of your control very quickly? Ill be glad to help but prefer not to if it may cause particular or potential harm to you. Also why the preference against the ars theurgis geotia?

I saw a program a while ago (The most haunted) where people placed a doll behind the person who looked into the mirror. and the person stared at the doll till the dollface began to change or move. and they thought it could be a spirit who possessed the doll. but you can also do it with your own face.
I dont belive in this stuff, I think its psychological.

I'm just a bit afraid of goetia and I have amulets and protecting charms some are even off this site. I also plan on casting a circle of protection

Well thats a good start... any contact can invite possession by negative spirits I've seen it and performed exorcisms its not fun. I've found depending or your level of practice and energy just staring into it with the intent of whom you want to speak with can be enough though do not look directly at yourself. Make sure the room is dark with a candle or oil lamp providing light indirectly (behind you etc). Just make sure you're in the right frame of mind (meditative) and have a clear intent.

What do you mean by not directly at yourself?

The person above suggested looking into your own face... yea don't do that. Best bet is the angle the mirror so you can stare into it without seeing you own reflection.
