Figures in the smoke

Sometimes when I am meditating I can focus into the smoke and see figures and shapes. It's very odd. The other day I cleared my mind and gazed into the smoke. I saw three dancers swinging and a shoe. It's just weird.

Divination, baby! Make it work for you!

So its like air divination or something. Strange...

Or perhaps it is a form of Scrying.

I don't know what it is. It's interesting though. Stuff usually has a pattern. Like a moment ago I saw two crescent moons and a owl and a tree. It's so random at times too.

maybe its scrying, Some ppl uses fire for scrying. i think u can also use smoke. Its possible.

Two moons can mean 2 months. Owl many regard as related to wisdom. What was the last again. Get back to that. Tho it's what it means to you. Or if your doing it for others. What it means to them.

Many have used smoke to scrying or 'prophetical' related and so on. Clouds is also been used. (have done the cloud thing)
And I supose the list goes on.

Tree can mean tree of life. Or the flow of nature.
But as I said. What it means to you and the first relation you gett about it. Before logic starts messing it up;)

Terra has it right, its divination. Its called libanomancy or capnomancy. Look into it. It is scrying through smoke, which is a form of divination. I always pay attention to my smoke, wax and flame when practicing ritual. It is very useful.

Thank you all for the info. It helped out a ton and I am very interested in pursuing a study of this type of divination.
