Merry Meet all!

I recently took the wood off my new willow wood wand and i am left with shavings of willow bark. I don't want to put them to waste so i would really like some ideas on how to use it. If you could also add the qualities of willow bark i would be very grateful. Thanks in advance,

Willow

I would also like to add that willows are commonly found near ancient British burial sites and the willow is considered to bea guardian tree, said to protect from evil influences. The willow tree has a healing aura that blesses all it touches. All parts of the willow guard against evil and can be carried or placed in the home for this purpose. It's bark can be used for it as well, since all of its parts areeffective.

Willow is a tree associated with the Goddess and with feminine energies. Shavings of willow bark could be dried and blended with other ingredients to make a Goddess incense.

I'd make tea. As said before willow bark is an amazing herb for both magical and medicinal properties. The tea cures and prevents a whole host of musculature and skeletal problems as well as tasting absolutely amazing. It's about a tea spoon of bark per cup of water and I find it tastes great with lemon, many people also drink it with honey as it can be a little bitter with just the lemon but still delicious.
