Enchanting an Object

Before anyone says anything, I want to clarify this; I'm young, yes, and I have somewhat undesirable intentions, yes, but I've been told before, and I'm just looking for some advice.

I've recently started dabbling with the idea of taking pieces of jewellery and binding them so as to have certain effects when they're worn

Each effect would be only very subtle, but they each relate to manipulating others.
Examples:

A red ring to inspire chaos around the wearer
A black ring to draw lustful intentions about the wearer
A white ring to invoke a sense of trust around the wearer

How would you suggest I go about creating an appropriate ritual to enchant these rings?
What would I use in the spells, what ingredients, what time of month, what symbols and incantations? Some advice, would be lovely.

I wrote this before at the Magical Items forum, but I'll post it again.

If you want an item to have certain
abilities/powers, you have to visualize the thing
(s) you want it to do, and you'll have to let your
energy flow into the item, by visualizing the
desired effect, in an energy form, travel from
your body to the item. Then you can visualize a
short glow or something as a confirmation that
it is enchanted.

First of all, cleanse this item. There are three ways I suggest.

Sea Salt Bath.

Wash or bury this with sea water or seal salt allow it to stay in it for like 10 mins. Then take it.

Moon Bath.

Most basics. Hold the stones to moon light and visualise black energy leaving as a smoke and then going to earth where it becomes normal energy again.

Light Bath.

Most people don't like this. You pass the stones from a white candles fire several times. Be careful because you might damage the stone.

After you cleansed them. Research what you have to do. Here is the day correspondances.

Sunday:

Gemstones: Quartz crystal, diamond, amber, carnelian

Associations: Agriculture, beauty, hope, victory, self-expression and creativity

Monday

Gemstones: Pearl, opal, moonstone

Associations: Childbearing and family life, purity and virginity, healing, wisdom.

Tuesday

Gemstones: Garnets, ruby

Associations: War and conflict, enemies,marriage and protection

Wednesday

Gemstones: Adventurine, agate

Associations: Business and job-related issues, communication, loss and debt, traveling and journeys

Thursday

Gemstones: Turquoise, amethyst, lapis lazuli

Associations: Honor and family loyalty, harvests, clothing and riches, fealty

Friday

Gemstones: Coral, emerald, rose quartz

Associations: Family life and fertility, sexuality, harmony, friendship, growth

Saturday

Gemstones: Apache tear, obsidian, hematite

Associations: Agriculture and creativity, fortune and hope, protection and banishment of negativity

After the day you chose, moon phase must be a waxing moon, which will be soon. Doing the exrecise written by Drakelius while burning a colorful candle that has to do something about your intention will enchant this object. :)

I would write color correspondances too... But it would be too long, so just search wicca colors and you will see a lot of it. ^^

Becareful passing a stone through fire, depending on the stone, it could explode. That's a lot worse than damaging the stone, it could mean damaging your eyes!

I've alway just put a stone in the direct light of a single candle flame in a dark room. Holding it about 3inches to the side of the flame renders no damaging heat, yet empowers it successfully. Just visualize the light of the flame burning away the foreign energy, leaving it pure.

Another thing you can do is soak the desired energy into the rings. Work with them yourself and call up the energy you want while wearing the ring and dismissing it when you take it off. This is a basic form of programming it to be incited only when someone is wearing it. Eventually, just create a link between the residual energy of the ring and the desired energy and seal it using things like sigils, wards, knots, etc.
