Well i believe opinions are beliefs to someone, my opinion on the way i create a spell is that i hardly ever use items, except my wand since i'm so use to useing it it just feels natural to me but if i feel i need items then heck there are going to be some things you need to properly cast it but it really comes down to is how you look at it, if you want to comment on this or post what your beliefs are and your opinions but please be mindful on how you comment so there are no hurt feelings

Thanks

you post is a little confusing. you didn't actually propose a question. by this logic i could say i believe in magic, and in my opinion aliens aren't real.

do you mean our belief and opinion on spells requiring a lot of items to work? spells don't. ingredients used in spells are put in their because they have power to help solve a particular problem. i believe many people rely a lot on the ingredients and not the energy they call forth and that's why many spells fail. same goes with chants, you should say it to empower and state why you cast the spell. many people feel if it doesn't rhyme, or says 'thou' or 'so mote it be' it won't work. what a spells success really comes down to is how well you charge, visualize and focus energy. you shouldn't rely on anything else really. [if that's what you were asking about anyway]
