Could you burn tea leave from those you buy from supermarkets as incense for purification?

never tried it before, but you could burn the leaves, for purification though i'm not sure, check the tea first.

Black tea - prosperity, strength and fortitude. burn in the room of a sick person to help them get better.

Green tea - Burn the leaves to ensure future riches. can be added to money mixtures and sachets.

it's better to drink the tea than burn the leaves, unless you mean buying an herbal blend and using the herbs found within, that's fine. it would be safer and easier though to use incense. i don't know about Chai, red or orange pico [along with any others] i usually just drink them. look the leaves up in an herbalism guide.

it depends if it's got charcoal in it. most stick's and cones have charcoal to help it burn. while i don't use the powder, i did read about it in Scott Cunninghams Incense, Oils and Brews:

"noncombustible incense must be sprinkled onto a glowing charcoal block to release its fragrance."
