mysteady kneesstart to shake.
My tounge to stumble in this verse,
my lips to scream out every curse.

My fists to clench up raw andtight,
myself to toss and turn all night/
My nails to cut into my palm,
my handscapable ofself-harm.

My blood tobleed and waittobate,
my tears to run with angry hate,
my feet to ignore frostbittentoes,
my eyes to refuse to cry or close.

My wrists to splitstraightacross the skin,
my heart to refuse to let you in,
my soul to wish I was not alive,
my brain to go into overdrive.

My love to prove it's never real,
my body to forget how to feel.
You make me wish that Icould bedead,
your biggest effect is in my head.
