disposing of a gift

I am asking for advice on how to dispose of wands made formy daughter and I by someone that is no longer on our lives. The person that made them is surrounded by drama and negativity and I am afraid these things are attached to these gifts and will cause problems in my household.
If you have suggestions please let me know what to do

If they are made from a tree branch and if possible, I would have a little bonfire and burn them.

if you havent already gotten rid of them then take some sage and blow the smoke on to it then give it directly to your child so that their energy fills it I suggest using a cloth or keeping your personal energy to yourself so that it can be truly hers
