Why are all the important threads now locked and unpinned?

as council we can unlock and repin can't we?

yes and no. everyone in Spell Casters is council, but as a result of everyone automatically being in the council, the rules are a bit different. you can delete posts, but last time i was a member, you can't pin/lock threads. if you can, you should see the option above the first post where it says 'Mark this forum thread as a Favorite' that says 'lock thread' or 'unlock thread'. for the pin option, you should see it on the top as well, to the right of the post right bellow 'start a new thread'.

i think how the threads got pinned or locked before was someone with admin or mod abilities was asked to lock or pin the threads. don't go around bugging the mods though.

I think it a fair assumption someone locked and unstuck them, however who did that is a mystery.

Could someone please stick the beginner's guide and operation clean up threads again?

Oh and the announcement threads. Jeez, someone did a real number on the organization of the threads here :/
