New, and bitter.

I know nothing about any of this. My life has taken a rather dark turn, recently. I'm no longer feeling any great source of comfort in Christianity. Funny thing, all of those who surround me and are involved in my problems are Pagan. Perhaps that is the issue? Very damaged and in need of much help!

Try doing a bit of research on multiple paths! You might just find some of each you like

don't jump in, you will probably join for the wrong reasons and leave with a bitterness.

you should reflect on everything, meditate if you can, ask yourself some questions, and come up with answers to them all. don't go with a one word answer, spend time with each question, think long and hard, and do what you feel is right. just because those who are helping you are pagan, and they're nice and helpful, doesn't mean that it's right for you. i don't know what path you wish to choose, it's one of the things you should reflect upon and ask yourself [because there are many to choose from] Lark wrote a forum about how to figure out if Wicca is right for you, but it can be converted to be for any path:
