shop confusion need help!

i have been thinking about getting either a pack of tarot cards or a new spell book (the witches journal), but i have a strict budget so i can only get one of them

which do you think i should ???

Honestly since the creation of an SoB is so easy I suggest the cards.

I would get the Tarot cards. You can always make a Book of Shadows. And, you'd be able to make it just the way you want without spending a lot of money.
