On crystal work

Is there a difference, when working with crystals, between synthetic and natural stones? I've honestly not tried to work with synthetics in the past, because I typically have easy-enough access to naturally mined varieties of what I need, but as of late that has become difficult. Synthetics, I still have in great numbers, though, and would like to know what, if any, the differences are in a magickal sense.

There is a huge difference between using synthetic stones and natural stones.

Since syntheic stones are made by man, and do not come from a natural source, they will function in a different way rather than natural stones do. If you work with these kinds of stones, things might go wack-o. Stones that are synthetic make nice decorations, though.

Natural stones have pure energy that comes from the source, nature. They will function normally.

True if you use man made stone they have no use in magick you canuse them as decoration but not in magick because they have no energy in them they are useless unlike natural stones have there own powers correspondences
