Wands?

Hello, all! I have a question regarding wand making. On October 1st, I plan on constructing my first legitimate wand. I already read some of the other articles about it, so I know 'how' to do it, but I am wondering if it is somehow possible to add a special feather that I collected once in it, and I would like to make it connected to the elements and music (I play the violin, so I would like to be able to 'charge' it somehow each time I play a certain note during my practices). And I already have a name for it :) Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!

To connect to the elements I suggest you either carve a pentagon on it or put the elements symbols on it and to play a note add a string

I think ElectricGod means a Pentagram not a Pentagon.

When it comes to wand making it really is down to your personal taste and choices. Do what feels right to you, There are no rules for wand making, it is yours to do with what you want.

I'd suggest having a little ritual of sorts where you charge it with whatever you like. Perhaps pass it through a flame, some water, grass and a feather for the elements.

You can tie the feather to it with some rope or leather. Or perhaps you could burn it, add it's ashes to varnish and paint it onto the wand.

Thanks! I never thought of the feather thing before. I will definitely do that. Also, when do you think the best moon phase would be to start making it? I am thinking the New Moon, because they are best used for a time of new beginnings and starting New things.

A wand dsnt need to be a enchanted / cursed item it can be as simple as precious rock or a blessed feather for eg a black obsidian shard can be imbued under the full moon by a simple blessing of the moon as obsidian black is used for darker arts it's quiet easy to empower and then store also cheap like most stone

Yeah, mine is an "all-purpose" wand, so I am not going to go deep into enhancements and stuff if that is already the intent I have for making it. I prefer to use my own 'hand-made' items, not store-bought things. This pretty much covers the last of my questions for my wand-to-be, for now. Thanks for the help!

Personally, I would recommend saving up and buying a wand from magicwandsofwizardry.com or alivans.com, they are very well made wands. I particularly recommend magicwandsofwizardry's master ebony wand. But if money is tight a home-made one will do.
