Galdr and Seidr

I've been interested in learning a bit about these two practises for awhile. Anyone habe any good suggestions on where to start?

Those are definitely some books I'd recommend reading through if you're interesting in Seidhr, as it can be a complex and complicated practice. I'd be careful and avoid reading " Seidr: the Gate is Open" by Katie Gerrard- as I've found it is more like Norse-Wicca than actual Seidr.

A fair bit of warning: There's a LOT of material out there for reading about the two subjects (some good sources, some bad sources). I would say that Galdr might be the easier practice to start with, as there's less to be involved. Seidhr is a practice that can take years to fully comprehend, let alone practice, and there's less material to draw from for it as well. Discussion about either practice is always welcome with me! I do not involve myself so much with galdr but I do study and practice Seidr.

I'm not good on seidr but galdr is a word meaning incantation of rune use in chants and songs of Vikings
