Dream catcher

I have a dream catcher because I want to capture all the good dreams that I have. But I haven't got round putting it up as I'm not quite sure if I should hang it Above My Bed or Next to a window

So can anyone please tell me where it should be hung

Dream catchers are used for catching nightmares and protection.
Some stories tell that nightmares come trough windows, but you hang it above your bed.
