How to bless a wand

How do you make a wand bleesed? Here is what I did so far.

I found a stick that felt just right
Took off all the bark
Carved it to a shape that most suite me
Decorating it maybe

That is all I did so far. What should I do now? Tommorow is the full moon so I was going to ask the moon to charge it with it's energy. I am cleansing it right now. Is there anyrhing else?
