Candle Magic ?

I am new to magic, from what I can tell there is no particular "branch" of magic I fit into and all seem to have some variations when it comes to what each color means, yet they all say the color of candles is important. I plan to use candle magic as my primary route. If I just pick which guide for colors to follow will it still be efficient?

well each colour has its significance...... try to follow it if u can....
or else use white candles as it has all the colours, but for effective magick use the colour related to it.
