Magickal uses burnt wood

I was with a group of friends and had a fire going in a fire pit. It was a great night and we had a amazing time. I felt so good about it, when everyone left and the embers cooled fully I took some pieces of the burnt wood remains with me back home. There bla k like charcoal. I was just wondering if there are any magical properties to this wood that I can use it for.

Well, I'm not sure of any direct uses. But since it sounds like it is just charred and not burned completely. That means it can be reignited.

Natural charcoal (and it's why some people use bamboo charcoal in stead of the oxygenating-agent laden discs) is much cleaner burning than the discs, and are an excellent base upon which to burn herbs and other loose incense.
