The thing about making wands from wood, you can take a fallen stick, or most prefer and recommend giving the tree an offering of water before you take a stick from that specific tree.
You can also use different objects as a wand. You can use your finger, a pencil, a ruler, or anything else that's handy or around. It doesn't have to be fancy!
