asian magick

Is there a specific name for magick originating from asia. I know there is druid for english, celtic for irish. Norse for Germany and many more magicks that originate from all countries. So i was wondering, what magick that originates from asia is called. I am curious as i want to study asian magick arts and study the asian deities.

The names you have listed are the names of religions/belief systems. Magic(k) is an English word that can be translated into different languages and is from other languages. These different cultures all practice magic(k) but in different styles. Asia has many countries that have many cultures with different belief systems. Some common religions/philosophies that appear in Asia are Shintoism, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc. You can probably find more information on other Asian religions by searching up "Asian religions" in a search engine. Be sure to cross-reference your sources!

There are many esoteric practices from the Orient that are similar. They, of course, had their systems of folk magic. Unfortunately, I personally know next to nothing about them. There are several schools of esoteric Buddhism such as the Tendai and Shingon schools. They had many practices such as kuji kuri (nine cuts of manifestation), gogyo (five elements) and kotodama (chanting 'divine syllables'). These are predominately Japanese, but there were Chinese equivalents. There was also Taoist alchemy in China. I am sure there are many more, but these are the ones that I am familiar with.
