Enchantment with a price?

Hi everyone, I've been working on making this ceramic crown and enchanting the amethyst gem I will place in it. I want to enchant it so that entities could speak to me through the crown and teach me the secrets of all magic. I know everything comes with a price and I already have a price that I'm willing to pay which is my sanity. How would I enchant this gem? Anybody know any good spells or rituals that I could perform that would allow me to have this enchantment and price?

No one can learn the "Secret of all magic", not even the oldest person in life has learned that. Magic is more than just learning about all, you can learn and learn until your heart dies, but in the end you never truly learn until you understand.

What Zeus said. Also, because someone apparently needs to stand up for entities on this site, you cannot just call forth entities at beck and call because you want something. Especially something so ridiculous. Please think about what you're doing before you do it on the off chance you actually manage to summon up someone.

Not to mention magic isn't exactly clear as day with any "everything comes with a price" mentality. You seem hell bent on this "price" being the only "price". Like?

Go back and start again from some variation of the basics . Magic like everything takes time and patience to learn. You won't learn everything overnight, and some stuff you won't even learn in this lifetime, but at least give it a worthwhile shot if you're genuinely interested.

Thanks for the responses, but I don't mean to force any entities to give me anything. I'd just like that whenever I wear the crown, any entities that would like to communicate are able to and I'd be able to listen to them.

Legend, either way, then to answer your original post, you don't need a crown to work with entities and communicate with them.

Work on covering the basics, move on to some more intermediate studies, and then jump into entity work from there with a solid foundation behind you. A good book for giving you some foundation before moving on to entity work is Modern Magick by Donald Michael Kraig if you're interested in reading.

Pace yourself through the chapters and carefully learn/practice things as you learn them. The recommendation I've found made most often is to pace each chapter as one month of learning.
