Good novice spells

I just started today and I want to know a few easy spells that I can start with. If possible, I'd like someone who is a witch to grant my wish of being successful in all of my attempts at spells (if such a thing is possible).

Educate yourself on what magic is, how it works, what it can do and what it cannot do. The art of magic is not something one should try to do without knowledge. There are many things that one can learn and several things that should be learned before trying to cast a spell. Learn skills that will help you in spell casting, some of which would be meditation, visualization, energy work, grounding, centering, and learning how to write spells.

Weatherwax has a nice post on books in the general information section.



Spell:
light a green candle, concentrate on the flame while visualizing picking up a dollar bill on the side walk, when the candle has burned out, go for a walk at least 3 times a week until you find the dollar. Repeat.

There is no such thing as a novice spell.

Magic is also not something does for the sake of doing it, or for entertainment. It has a purpose, and your study will help you find that purpose for yourself.

There really aren't any 'beginner' spells. It's all magic. The main thing is the study and concentration needed (which needs to come before casting a first spell.)

Before any spellwork, it is best to build the foundations first. Practice meditating,and learn how your own mind works. Through meditation you can build your concentration skills as well as visualization which both are important in any magical work.
