Altering spell intent

Hi all, I hope someone can help.
I have a spell to sever a bond,I've used it before to be rid of an ex with success. Can a spell like this be used to sever the bond between two other people? The only changes to the wording would be my loved ones name where my own would go. The second name would again be the offending party.

You wouldn't just be able to use their name, as since they are not the ones doing the spell. In order to do so, you would need something personal to them. Like a talisman or something that they have a connection to.

Yes you can do that. I would suggest using their name and birthday. But just a name works perfectly fine. What's important is that you know exactly who it is and you put just as much effort into visualization as you did with the first spell - preferably more since you are interfering with 2 completely independent people
