Spirit board protection

I have recently bought a spirit board and was wondering how to start a session and and a session. What protective charms/spells work etc.

I know Ouija boards are not to be taken lightly. That's why I'm asking for advice before using it.

You should start by setting the mood for it. For example dim the lights, light some incense and some candles, etc. Do what makes you feel most comfortable and rested.

Before starting a seance I simply say a ' prayer ' of my own and take a moment or two to tell myself why I am using it. I always tell the people who are with me the " rules " so they know what to do and what not to do.

If you have studied the board you know when to end the seance. To do such just ask the spirit to leave or move the planchette to " good bye ".

Regarding protective amulets it can be anything that you charm, for instance or something made of silver, etc.

Just remember that it only goes south if you allow it to.

The best way to protect yourself is to actually cast a circle and set your intent that only beneficial entities can enter the circle in order to communicate with you. Then, you can stay inside the circle during the entire time of the communication. Once you are done, ask them nicely to return from where they came, and if not sure do some banishing. You can eventually learn to expand the boundaries of the circle around the entire house with a practice.

I personally will not relay on charms or spells to protect myself, while doing mediumship work. You can create a charm to protect yourself for example at all times, while you are out and about. However, if you are about to communicate with any beings in your house casting circle and protecting the house is a must as well. Not everything that looks and sounds to be nice and lovely is nice and lovely.
