Nightmare of a future?

I was seven years old when I had this nightmare. And this is how it went:
"I was standing with my mom in the house and just doing our normal routine when all of a sudden she just dropped to the ground dead. The moment that happened a strange and unusually large black cat with red eyes who's fur shimmered like black onyx appeared and made a movement with its tail telling me to follow it. I did. Then I start to see conflict everywhere. I saw politicians shouting at each other although I couldn't hear what they were saying. then I see terrorists attacking people with guns and bombs. and the whole time the cat led me on until the final where I see a bright flash and hear a loud boom that woke me up."
That was how the dream went and so far the part that I can confirm that came true was my mom's death which happened 3 years after the nightmare. And as for the black cat I felt a sense where Yes it was dark in nature but meant me no harm at all. If you can help me interpret this nightmare i will definitely appreciate it.

when you day "dark in nature" what do you mean?

Like it was something from the darkside. like a shadow entity of some kind

so you mean evil? I believe that just because something is dark doesn't make it evil so did you sense evil or darkness?

Darkness with a hint of security like i can trust it but it is not a spirit guide. do you think it could be one of those guardian demons i read about?

I am not certain to be honest. I don't know much about demonology but for the dream at least the cat was almost definitely a guide. cats hold secrets, they are keepers of the devine, but they are calm, the world is on fire but that doesn't mean that all is lost, if it was then there would be no point in telling you about it. for the sake of argument let's say that this dream did have a devine source and give a more objective viewpoint, your mother died, there was no one to nurture you anymore, no one to protect you, so the cat approaches you, the world *appears* to be ending, and everyone is at war, until finally something comes to end it all. honestly I don't know what this means, in my experience you nearly always guess wrong when you have a dream like this, it is also possible that if this was a spirit it could have just been trying to frighten you. I know that I am not being much help but all I can recommend is that you meditate on it and ask your guides.

I'll meditate on it but i for some reason can't contact my guide. sure i have had encounters with spirits who does what they can to protect me and one or two who scares the daylights out of me then disappears and never come back. but i can only feel. i can never see them. and i haven't seen that cat since that dream all those years ago.
