Messages.

Okay so,

its really getting annoying when the only kind of messages I am reviewing are for dating, flirting, and asking for nude images. I am getting tired of saying that how disgusting the comments and questions are getting. Now Im not going to report the users, I blocked them. The reason is that they can just make new accounts easily.

but Im here to make other members aware of the messages. Some are alright with it and others are not.

And young girls under the age of 18.

I would recommend not posting Any nude photos online.

i am telling you this for both legal and general reasons.

If you are receiving requests for nude photos on this site that is something that the Site Administrator needs to be aware of so that it can be dealt with expeditiously. Here is what anyone receiving such requests should do:

1. Block the person from sending you more mail by clicking on the "Ignore" tab beneath their message.

2. Save the message in your "Default" folder (This will happen automatically if you do not intentionally delete it.)

3. Send an e-mail to Petrarca, the Site Administrator, at https://www.spellsofmagic.com/profile.html?profile=1 and tell him what has happened. He can then take a look at the e-mail in question and take the appropriate action.

Sadly, much as we don't like people like this on Spells of Magic, the Moderators cannot take direct action unless they can actually see the e-mail, only Petrarca can do that, so if it is an e-mail then the person who can help is Petrarca.

It's a good idea to report them, in part, because if a particular IP address keeps making new accounts (and yes, I know how easy it is to use a different IP address, but a lot of people won't bother), the admin can block more accounts being made.

I'm sorry this is a constant problem for so many, and I wish there was a practicable way to stop this kind of abhorrent behavior on this forum entirely, without negatively impacting the users who do not engage in such activities. But it is impossible to control people's actions to that extent. Over the years, I've seen all sorts of things posted here, even in the public view, such as inappropriate profile pictures and names, and open propositions in their posts. I always report it to the moderators immediately, and hope they can catch it before too many people see the infraction. It is this alone which makes me wish there were a report button so all the moderators could receive a notice, and whoever gets to it first can do what they must, in stead of hoping to mail the right mod who will next be on or next have a chance to address the issue.

If you yourself are under the age of 18, or if someone else is under the age of 18; and are being asked for nude photos - you can also get authorities involved especially if you asked them to stop and they repeated as this is a form of harassment. The authorities will most likely contact the site admin to access the messages and track the locations of the subjects so real justice can be given.

They're probably just horomone - confused teenagers but you never know, they could be an adult, and either way - have a collection of pre-existing underage photographs. And you would be preventing the possible future of these perverted individuals from getting such photos in the future.

If you or whoever is reading this was requested such and you're under 18, but they only said "send pics" and did not specifically requested nudity of any form, you should reply (my nudes?) And if they respond in any form of a yes then you can get authorities involved.

Hope I help. I suggest this because I feel justice is better served by the authorities rather than them simply losing access to the site.
