Writing my own spells

I just now came up with my own love spell. It's so simple. I haven't cast it yet. All the ingredients you can get at Walmart.

Ingredients
Red/pink candle
Lighter/match

Casting Instructions
Light the red/pink candle. As you light the candle chant as I light this candle new love shall come into my life. This is my will so more it be. Repeat this spell as often as you like.
See how simple it is? Your not casting it on a specific person. Your casting this spell to attract love. There's no reason why this spell should work right?

As long as you put the needed energy, focus, etc behind what it is you're doing, I don't see why you'd have any issue with it working.

It's your intent, your will, energy, emotions, etc that help make your spellwork a success. If you've put that needed energy into it, you should see results. Though also keep in mind that drawing those energies, vibrations, people etc to you can take time to manifest and come to you.

That said, you could even carve your intent into the candle itself. That way as that section burns, it releases that portion of your intent;as another means to symbolically send your will into the universe to manifest.

Like I said I just now thought of this spell. It just came to me out of nowhere.
