Hello. I am new and wanted to introduce myself. I am trying to find my path and have no idea where to start. I've noticed many people here are experienced and follow the paths they've experienced. I have experience many things and have no understanding of them. If anyone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Hello and welcome!

There are a lot of different options, some with more organized structures than others. We have some good forums dedicated to some of the more common/organized paths (wicca, druidism, norse paganism/asatru, etc). Of course you don't necessarily have to choose, you can create your path based on what you feel most comfortable (eclectic). The best way to figure out is honestly to read/explore different practices and pantheons and focus on what things resonate with you.

For example, I'm personally eclectic. I observe full moons and the sabbats with what they symbolize, but goddess wise I'm more involved with the Hindu pantheon (particularly Kali). My practice has a huge focus on energy manipulation, chakra work, meditation, and astral projection. I really don't do spells with the exception of cleansing, consecrating, or protective types.

I would consider myself more generally pagan than witch since I don't do much spell wise. Everyone can feel free to correct me, but I've found that spellwork is the main delineating factor. another confusion a lot of people have is calling themselves wiccan even though wicca refers to a specific religion (observing a god and a goddess, though some practitioners choose which god and goddess to include). There are other paths like druidism, which I honestly don't know much about, but I do know are much more strict with their practices.

Take some time to read around and find your niche. There's a tradition of the "Year and a day," to read and learn before you fully dedicate yourself to a deity or a practice.

There are a lot of good resources here and many people who are a lot more knowledgeable than I on these subjects here, so you're in a good place.
