Disappearing Messages?

Hi.

I just received a message read it and left my mailbox to think on my response. While returning to respond at 3:37 pm Eastern Standard Time I found my mailbox empty with my default full of 22-23 messages I've previously responded to, but this new message not there? Is this an occurrence that happens often?

Is it possible the sender deleted it after sending?

It would be the most recent message in your default box. Since it has been read, it will no longer appear as "new."

It is not in the default and was sent from a member requesting help with something. I read it, left my mailbox, went back to respond and it was not in my default box.

It sounds strange I know.

I don't believe I imagined reading this message.

I'm not worried. I was simply wondering if the mail system is properly working.

Perhaps you missed it in your default.
