Be careful of users

Be careful who you chat with on here. People claim to wanna help you and listen to you or even lie about spells or being into spells and magic. I had a person instead of helping me and telling about my situation they wanted to try and manipulate me by discussing sex and other things with me and bringing up underage such as 12 years old sexual activities. I reported the messages and blocked the person. There are a lot of disgusting people on here who are behind a screen to seek you out for bait. I do not appreciate this at all! I came here to be apart of spells and magic and being able to use this site appropriately.

thank you for sharing this information. if there was a user speaking about underage sexual activities, I would recommend reporting the particular IP address. It would be responsible. Its been unfortunately going on for a while, users will message you then drop that bomb on you.

Thanks for the warning. if anyone reaches out to you and you don't feel comfortable, don't delete the messages, block them, tell a mod, or go straight to Petrarca. They can deal with it.

People need to be more cautious online. Online life is real life. The problem is, since John Doe the person won't get in trouble, RandomUser123 will, it's easier to dissociate and treat it like it's not real life. If you were at the mall [pre-pandemic] and a stranger walked up, talked about how amazing you were and offered to help you. Would you go with them? I know not everyone who wishes harm has a giant moustache to twirl that tells you they're evil, but trust your instincts. That nibbling doubt it warning you of something. [and this is coming from someone who had a cyberbully]
