Finding Book on Dark Arts

I found this book on Amazon. But is it authentic? Since i depend on books or authors that has authentic view on history and tradition of witchcraft etc

The very description of the book is full of misinformation and false claims. I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot wand ... staff ... uh, pole.

The book just from reading the description is totally nonsense. Wicca is not a magical practice, and it certainly is not about "black magic". Wicca is a religion which is about becoming more attuned with nature and with the worship of God and Goddess. It's core tenet of practice is that of avoiding harm to self and others. Since "black magic" involves doing harm, the book would be totally against all that Wiccans believe. Don't waste your money.

Nor does Wicca have anything to do with Voudoun. "Vooddoo" is a totally separate religion than Wicca.

If you want to practice" Black Magic ", Wicca is not at all where you will find it.

You might want to try instead something like " The Complete Book of Black Magic and Witchcraft: Including the rituals of Ceremonial Magic, Exorcism, True Sorcery and Infernal Necromancy " by Arthur Edward Waite

If you're looking for books on the actual history and practice of Wicca, I'd be glad to point you at some reliable sources.

I read two books on Wicca. I think Raymond Buckland was good!

That book is considered one of the classics.

Buckland isn't a bad source on Wicca, but his description of the history of Wicca is one that we no longer hold to.
